The joy of chess is nowhere celebrated to such climactic excesses as in Kingpin
leaves my game shiny, manageable, natural looking
those who are unfamiliar with Kingpin are missing out on a real delight: there are many good chess magazines around, but in my opinion Kingpin is the best out there
Kingpin is often pretty controversial too, with many an allegation or insinuation strewn amongst its pages.
Its rather coarse satirical manner may not appeal to everyone – just the majority of us who enjoy sharp games and low humour
uses impiety and parody to hew down the conventions of publishing, even including mock testimonials
Both serious and funny, I recommend it to anyone who wants to smile as he reads
one of my favorite magazines
Unpredictable, honest, the funniest
one of the very few chess publications that call a chess spade a chess spade
