But to me it made no sense
For I thought that a prophylactic
Was a form of French Defence.

leaves my game shiny, manageable, natural looking

Its rather coarse satirical manner may not appeal to everyone – just the majority of us who enjoy sharp games and low humour

Kingpin is a very, very nice magazine
very, very entertaining . . . some of the back issues of Kingpin were instant classics
In the chess satire stakes @KingpinEd are masters of the art form … a veritable feast: irony, sarcasm, hyperbole
Please, do people really believe what they read in Kingpin? I am amazed! It’s like taking a satirical show and mistaking it for the news
the magazine I most enjoy . . . Gary Lane’s agony column is a must for all chess addicts
